Friday, October 15 2010, 8:30am - 2:00pm Hits : 2546

National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey was established in 2002 to begin the journey of educating our nation about alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles and the important role they play.  As our country continues to face several crises revolving around our dependence on foreign oil and need for a cleaner environment, it is more important than ever for Americans to know that AFVs and advanced technology vehicles can offer hope.  National AFV Day Odyssey is a nationwide, biennial celebration conducted to educate the public on the importance of these vehicles.

Odyssey provides audiences of all professions the opportunity to become better acquainted with viable, clean vehicle alternatives.  Consisting of activities ranging from vehicle exhibits and demonstrations to speakers, Odyssey also creates the largest collaborative effort of thousands of industry experts, sharing their passion, knowledge and support of alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.

Please plan to attend the 2010 Southeast Texas Odyssey AFV Event, October 15, 2010, 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., at the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur, Texas.
